The experience was wonderful to spend time in a home built in 1880 in excellent condition with period furnishings, wall pictures and trimmings. Our host Fiona provided no fuss service, always pleasant and friendly. We arranged a late arrival due to late docking of the Spirit of Tasmania, we experienced a good night sleep and excellent cooked breakfast our rating is 10+ out 10.
Exceptional
What a complete, and pleasant, surprise this was. We had seen the pictures but this old place is done up beautifully. Our hostess met us and told us a little about the place. The room was done up in period furniture but with all the modern conveniences. Breakfast was put on early for us as we had a ferry to catch. We only wish we'd had more time to explore the town. Top notch!

The host is really lovely and the house itself super interesting. Lovely gardens and tennis courts and a beautiful walk nearby in a nature reserve.
The breakfast was great
The breakfast was great soft poached eggs can be tricky for restaurants, The location was Ideal as we had just completed a day crossing from Melbourne and planned to travel to a remote campsite the next day.
